changing a signal on approach

Hi all,

I am wondering if there is a way to keep a signal at stop (red) until my tram, which is approaching it, is a certain distance away from it (possibly a trigger?), then it would give an all clear signal (green) to proceed through the crossing.

So the real life scenario is, The signal stays red until crossing arms are lowered at the road vehicle crossing. When arms are down the signal turns green giving right of way to the tram approaching the road crossing.

While I'm no expert with such things as this I think that the ATLS system of crossings, signals and triggers may be able to help here. There are tutorials on Boats website

Have a read through and see what you think. If you search the forums for ATLS you will find that other people have found many alternative uses for these assets.

Yup, the ASB (similar to ATLS) system would definitely do the trick for you.

Thanks, I have heard of ATLS but not of ASB before. I will look into it further.
