Why is Auran so slow in giving us the details of the service packs for Sp4 TRS2009? I am getting very dissapointed in the Trainz products!:n: As stated for the TRS12 new release, it says will be barely playable for Window XP-Sp3, Frame rate very poor in dence areas. Also requires that stupid Microsoft's Sp3 for XP. That is another reason I will not buy a game that forces Sp3 to be installed. I do not care what any folks say it slows down the computers responce time! I have proven it over and over again! Slow computer? Removed Sp3 Computer restored to fast again! Sp3 installed wait 3 to 4 seconds for my computer folder to open, or any folder for that matter. Remove Sp3 and folders open instantly.
Win 7 is crashing very often on computers lately and I will never go to an os that is a Hog on resources.:n:

While SP3 seems to have reduced performance by an un-quantifiable hair, an appreciable slowdown is probably a sign of something else. Have you tried googling, "does xp sp3 slow"? You'll get a variety of symptoms and solutions.

In any case, TS2010 runs great for me.

Clean Install

I tried a clean install of XP Pro just for testing purposes. That is why I have the complaint of the Microsoft's Sp3. Anything that causes a slow down that reduces the crispy feeling of the os is a red flag for me. Thank You for the reply. I am a very patient person and nomally do not complain unless I have the proof of the cake from my own extensive testing.
