Change a route "heading" + world origin

Hello, i want to know if i can change the direction of a route. I mean..if i built a route on the N-S axis, can i change that on the E-W axis?

Also what is the use of the world origin asset?

Unfortunately you can't.

World origin is to set the latitude and longitude and altitude of a point on the route. I'd leave the altitude at zero though otherwise odd things happen when using values in the height tool, you have to adjust for the altitude set.

I have successfully used the copy (select), paste-rotation and paste buttons on the surveyor tools tab to copy a small (one board) route to an adjacent added blank board. While using the copy tool, drag the left mouse button to size it , use the right mouse button to move the map under it. The rotate control should must be used before the paste button to get the desired orientation of the copy.
Suggest you practice with a test route and keep the Undo button handy .

An interesting idea, Irving - I must try this. However, does the technique cope with track and other splines accurately?

I experienced accurate copying of tracks and other objects.
I forgot to mention that you should be sure to highlight the 4 object buttons below the copy and paste controls: height, texture, object and track. Also the Absolute height button. You can use any combination if desired for instance to copy a building lot.
