CDP's

Just wondering if anyone's noticed this when installing CDP's - it doesn't install everything in the package the first time! I have to import them four or five times to make sure there's nothing its left out. It's really annoying when installing large CDP's because it can take loads of times before everything is installed... and even then you don't know if everything has!

I have lost have my stuff because of this when restoring archives after I reinstalled Trainz. It may just be me. I don't know...

Which version? With TRS2004, all of the files in the CDP should be installed initially.

TRS2006 SP1 (it did it before SP1 as well - that's the reason I had to reinstall it)

Not sure if this is the same thing as happens to you. When I reinstalled TRS2006 and added SP1, some of my own routes were missing quite few assets mostly buildings. Sp1 had been installed correctly and all assets loaded from CDps saved on CDs. Tried reinstalling these routes several times but made no difference. This did not happen when I originally installed TRS2006, only after SP1. These routes were built in TRS2004 and UTC.

Are you installing from your hard drive? You should.

It sounds like the same thing. I can't say I've noticed it before SP1 but I didn't use CDP's very often then. It happened in particular with archives from pre-SP1, but it does happen with CDP's as well.

By the way, they were on my hard drive.
