Aanyways this is geting really stupid and the city is holding Closed Door meetings for
t the railroads Status

Even throw they have a petition online to save it With 2,025 Signers but the City and the county
is not paying any attention to the Railroad and the 2025 people including me that I live in North Carolina

yeah, there was a thread about this a while back (if the mods see this, they may want to merge this thread with the previous one); I agree with you it's BS. The line up to the old hotel and to the U&DRR isn't abandoned, but "Embargoed": basically the same as out of service, but with the possibility that it can come back to life...hmm, does that sound familiar?

I know there's another nearby tourist line in New York that does the same rail-share-trail thing, and has been targeted by the county it's in as well, basically they want to do the same as Kingston wants to do to the Catskill Mountain. I think It's the Adirondack Scenic that's the other targeted line. some people, I swear...[/rant]
