Carolina & Eastern(Fictional RR WIP)

Quick Tip

Hmm, this looks pretty interesting. Just a tip for a bit more accuracy at the port, the track layout is on google maps. Also, the lead that runs into the first NS yd, is single track along Arendell St. From there, it's pretty much a loop around. I'm guessing this will also include the draw bridge that crosses the sound at Radio Island that runs to the NC Port Rwy shops, and the dead end at Beaufort?
Overall, this project looks like it has good potential. There's most definently been a lack of NC routes for Trainz. Best wishes to completion. :)

Nice Point

There's most definently been a lack of NC routes for Trainz.
True words spoken by a true genius. Come to think of that, much of the southern half of our country (U.S.A.) hasn't been made in Trainz. We have the east, west, southwest, midwest, northeast and northwest seen in Trainz extensively, but not much of the south. I wonder why that is.

ON TOPIC: Great route, I can't wait to see more.

well im making it fictional but it will have that North Carolina Style to it and i will base it off the Lines that run through there

Doing something inspired by Morehead City, eh? We've gone on vacation to Atlantic Beach before. One of the neat aspects of Morehead City is how the single railway track goes right down the median of the divided U.S. 70 highway through downtown! I'm implementing such a setup in my personal U. S. route, which also is using some SpeedTree models of species appropriate for my area here in central North Carolina.

What area(s) of North Carolina are you route set in?

Zachary.

well im getting back to the route i realised that family problems isnt an excuse to abandone this route . i have done a few things i am going to try to work out some bugs with some deps ( on my pc anyways ) ok well i better get to work updates will come soon

It Looks Great
I Gotta Make A Thread For My Route
But Gotta Start It First:hehe:
Mine Is A Shortline
But Still Gotta Start It

Looks like a good start. :)

If I may make a suggestion, I suggest that you use some SpeedTrees of the proper species. McGuireL (Brittany) has some white oaks, sugar maples, and a silver birch on the DLS as part of her UltraTreez series which I use and are, in my opinion, good models to use for central N. C. trees. If you are using TS12 then there may be a red maple UltraTree built-in, which seems to be a common species around here. If you are using TS2010, then Brittany has released TS2010 versions of her built-in-to-TS12 trees on the GAURC forums (http://forum.gaurc.us/. Note: registration is required). You can also get her conifers from the GAURC forums which may be okay substitues for the pine trees that are around here (loblolly pine, shortleaf pine, etc.). There are also some pin oaks by gawpo50 on the DLS, which are another local species. Note that I am suggesting models to use for central N. C. trees. Note also that lots of SpeedTrees can slow down Trainz if you are using a lower-end
computer.

Hope this helps. :)

Regards,

Zachary.
