when im in survaor building stuff after when i save my work it tells me i cant save it in tz2012 im running

Why don't you create a new file name and save it that way. Also be aware that there are some layouts that are protected,... the owners do not want you to mess it up. I use TS12 all the time now with very few problems.

Surveyor was unable to commit it to the trainz asset data base that was the error but thanks very much for your advice i saved it as a differant name and it worked its my layout but thankyou for your help and taking the time to do so Matt

Unable to describe the conflict you have there on what appears to be dreddman's 1700 classes made for 04, but it's obviously full of errors. Cloning the asset will have little to no effect, these low poly models of dredd's ranging from 1200/1300/1460's/1700's/1720's are still undergoing modifications to work with the latest versions of trainz. There's no set date to confirm when they will be completed.

It has little to do with anything other than overuse of security.
You want to save your own route? Just be online to get permission.

Hi Ron,

This is why we recommend installing and running Trainz as administrator on Windows Vista (gulp!) and up.

It's nice to see another local Trainzer here. I've met up with two others for dinner in Wilmington at the 99 Restaurant over the summer. We had a great time talking Trainz, boats, and computer stuff.

Best,

John

Hi John,
I didn't think there were any "Local Trainzers" in this area.
I have seen, liked and use your Trainz assets in my own routes.
I do run Trainz on Vista with a laptop no less. And I do everything as an admin to avoid the Microsoft bottlenecks.
My comment was based on an issue I brought up awhile back when I belonged to the beta testers group.
I thought they fixed it, only partly I guess.
Regards,

Ron

Hi Ron,

N3V fix something like this? HA! We just figure out how to get around the technical stuff. :)

Thank you on the assets. I'm glad you enjoy them.
