Can't read rext

I'm having difficulty reading the text in some of the message boxes. The text is either white or grey (so feint I can't tell). Is there a setting in Trainz options to fix this or is it my monitor? I had a screen dump to attach but apparently I'm not allowed to. Why is that?

Which Trainz do you have?

I changed my video settings from Direct-X to Open GL and the problem has disappeared!
