Can't post when in certain threads

I wanted to post a question on the following thread: https://forums.auran.com/trainz/showthread.php?140905-Driver_Col-Routes!

I noticed in the lower left corner that my account on that particular thread was not able to do anything (post replies or post new threads, etc.). Other times in other threads I can post normally. I am clearly creating a new thread with this post. (Right now the lower left corner says I can do all of the things that I can't do in the above mentioned thread.)

I have had other instances when I have clicked a link in a post (to go to another post) and have received a message indicating that I am not authorized to view that post. I am wondering if I am doing something wrong or if there are multiple classes of users of the forum. Clearly I am new at this and might really be missing something.

There seems to be a problem with the forum software, not with you, for new members.

Click on the Helpdesk link at the top of this page and leave a message describing your problem. Only they can fix it.

Thank You

Thank you, I will do that.

Did you resolve your problem? If not, please PM me. Regards. Colin.
