Can't get maglev to run in AI mode.

Hi everyone.

I am building my own route and thought I’d put in a maglev track or two.

I laid a maglev track and stations (built in content), but for some reason the AI trains wont run.

All I’ve used is the maglev guide rail and stations and I can drive the trains fine using DCC, but using Navigate/Drive to doesn’t work. :'(

Any suggestions please?

I suspect - I'm am not sure, but just putting it out there - that this is a problem with the enginespec. Perhaps try substituting an enginespec from a loco that you know will work in AI mode.

Hi RRSignal. Thanks for replying. I tried the engine spec from a BR Deltic, but still no joy. Does it matter what loco’s engine spec I use?

Do the stations themselves appear in Navigate/Drive To? If not, it means you are not using passenger enabled stations. As for the enginespec, if it drives in DCC, it should work in AI.

Another thing to try is merging the session layer with the route layer.

Morning Shane. Thanks for replying. The station's are the built in maglev ones, but they only show up as maglev stations one & two, the platform numbers don't show.

I merged the session layer with the route layer, no luck. And it does drive in DCC.

Hi all. I placed a track mark at the 2 maglev stations I have in my route so far & by using the drive to track mark command the trains run in AI mode. Do got it working (in a way). Thanks Shane & RESsignal.
