Well as the title says I have had no luck finding a lot of KUID's I need. I had an entire thread typed up but for some reason when I posted it, it just vanished completely so I m going to start off with just one KUID for just one engine I need and add the others in later.

I have seen it before but have no clue what a CDP is. I googled for it and can't find anything about it. I am literally clueless to most of this and am trying to figure it out but there are so many acronyms. I will keep looking for CDP.

CDP is the file format for Trainz assets before they are installed by Content Manger. Just like .doc relates to word documents or .xls to excel then .cdp is the format of file that can be handled by Content Manager. If the links that you have been given above lead you to the items that you want then click to download them but save them to a location where you will be able to find them later. The items will download as .cdp files. Next open content manager and from the file menu in the top left corner choose 'Import CDPs' and in the dialogue box that opens browse to the location that you saved your downloads to. Click on the relevant cdp file and then click 'open' and your asset will be installed into the game.

CDP stands for 'Content Dispatcher Pack'

Regards, Andy

gc53, welcome to Trainz. As Andy so kindly informed you, CDP is the filetype recognized by Content Manager when installing third-party content or FTP (file transfer protocol) from the DLS (DownLoad Station). Essentially, it's an archive file for Trainz content.

Well I managed to get a lot of the CDP's downloaded and installed but still have a few steam engines appearing in red in the railyard or still not at all.

Double-check that none of them are missing dependencies, and that no assets are faulty in Content Manager. Also, ensure that you are at the latest build for Trainz: 49922

I am at the latest build and some of the engines did have a faulty dependency but I don't know what needs to be done to fix that.
