I was copying and pasting a Neighborhood Block, and it got misaligned to where i wanted it to be. So i re pasted it over the last placement and now i have 3 items that i cant delete. The items where FT 50M track. I removed them from the KUID list in the config of the route config, but still cant get rid of the markers.

Hello DoyleChris98,

Welcome to the forum my friend, this is a common problem in Trainz, I find it annoying with certain speed trees, you place them on the board, but they don't delete afterwards, sometimes restarting trainz helps to remove the trees, otherwise you could try and copy a piece of land, and paste it where the track markers are.

I haven't been on the forums for a while, but usually when I am on, I try my best to not let a post go unanswered.

Hope the above helps

I can get the items to disappear but i cant get the Arrows to go away and if i paste something over it, it changes the arrows to road way or splines.

Hi DoyleChris98 again, sorry the above did not help, I have two more ideas for you that might work.

Have you tried using a feature called the (hole punch), it places a hole where the land is, and once the hole has been placed, then delete the hole using the (X) in the buildings tab, this might get rid of the arrows, as it removes everything that is where the hole is, try and add the holes where the tracks where, then delete the holes and see if the arrows have disappeared.

The last idea is also the last resort, you could delete the effected baseboard with the arrows on, this will delete the baseboard, the ground and most items on it (possibly including the arrows), then replace the baseboard, and check the arrows are gone and rebuild your land what was effected, once you have deleted the baseboard, DO NOT SAVE, in case it did not work, then add a new baseboard in the space left, hopefully the arrows will have gone, but unfortunatly you will have lost one baseboard of scenery, which will need to be redone, but I would sooner delete one baseboard and rebuild it, than delete a whole route and start from scratch.

Hope the above helps, and let us know how you get on.

A thought here. It may be worth checking if the asset you are having problems with is built-in or not. If it's not built-in, you may be able to delete it using Content Manager and use Delete Missing Assets in Surveyor.

One note though - deleting an asset from the route's KUID table is not the way to remove an asset from a route.

Some ideas to try

.
Some splines are irritatingly impossible to delete if they are placed above a certain height, relative to the ground level on which they are placed. Typically this is 10 metres or more with the ones I've had trouble with.

Yours look to be placed at ground level, but check the vertices at the end of each spline with the Get vertex height tool just to be sure. Try varying the height to a lower level anyway before having another go with the Delete spline (D) button.

I'm assuming that you're trying to correct these splines in the Objects (F3) tab. If they don't delete there, try the delete button in the Tracks (F4) tab.
