Cannot install SP2 and SP3 on Trainz 2009

When I run SP2 on Trainz 2009 38017-->40040 (from exe archive that I downloaded on Trainz website) the installation remains in a excessive time without progress... Sometimes it ends, after some installs and reinstall Trainz completely from CD...
And I saw that SP2 Automatic updates is active, but I don't understand how to install it...
BUT, Althought SP2 is installed manually, when I run the SP3 (downloaded from Auran website) SP3 don't installs and the installation hangs...
TRainz is installed on PIV Core 2 Duo 2,6 Ghz, 4 GB RAM, 500 GB HD 7200 rpm, etc... in Windows 7Ultimate x64.
Trainz 20'09 with SP1 work very fine, but now I cannot install the SP2 and SP3...
Any idea??

It is not clear to me what you are saying.
It can take hours to install SP2. The progress slider can be stationary for an hour or so.

I have just reinstalled all of the trainz cds and got it all back up and running.

the service pack 1 updated fine..

the service pack 2...well...
i left it to run from 11pm before bed and it was still going when i got home from work at 2pm the next day.

Service pack 3 installed no problem but still took a little time, just not as long as number 2.

its a waiting game i think ... it has a lot of files to go through
