They can rebuild it in a new location, 10 times better than the old layout.
The Altoona Model RR club has a carpy layout, and fueds between the owner of the building much are heated ... nothing on the route looks anything like the Horseshoe, or anyplace in Pa ... if they are forced to move ... they too can better the next layout.
The Altoona RR Memorial Museum doesn't even have a train layout anymore, for a fued between the owner, made the model railroad club mad, and they packed up their bags, and stormed out in a huff, over bad management of the museum.
One of my favorite layouts is in Souderton Pa train station. The layout is truely showing its old age, and probably could be redone better.
The Landsdale Pa Model RR club also was forced to move out, of a warehouse, when rent was too high.
