Is that because it is for TS Mac?
Have you asked the author?
I've read the licence and its fairly clear that he does not want anyone to profit from the asset or to use the texture and claim as their own. I see no problem in modifying for your own use especially to update to meet later requirements.
no. You can, it's not that hard. You'll need to open the faulty assets in Content Creator Plus, then let it update the config, then save it and close it. Get back into explorer, find the loco mesh and get it to a .im file (use PEVsoft's stuff http://www.members.optusnet.com.au/villaump/pevsoft.htm ) and then open the .im file with Quickshadows (you'll download that from PEV's site) and then you go back into Content Creator Plus, select the .im file for the default in mesh table (should be something like that) and then select the shadow.im that Quickshadows just made in the shadow selection of the mesh table. Save and commit

Not trying to sound mean but if you looked under my name, read the first part of the thread, you will notice that I am on a mac. PEVs software is .exe, macs run .appUhh, why not?
PM me (10 characters!)
He means: Send him a private message.
Since you are not set up to receive PM messages I will have to respond here.
I'm happy to make the im files for you as I do not believe it violates the author's licence. But, since you are effectively "updating" the asset, Trainz may well require you to make other changes. Since I'm not familiar with TS12 on Mac I don't know what they may be.
On its way. Maybe you will have less of a problem then. My TS09 installation is broken and I cannot be bothered fixing it.I think all you would have to do is just change the mesh files from .pm to .im.
p.s TRS2012 isn't on mac, TRS Mac is equivalent to TRS2009
