Can I import 2004 layouts to 2006?

I've made a couple of quite busy layouts in Trainz 2004, and they took a fair old time to biuld. So I'd like to be able to import them into 2006, but can't find any instructions anywhere as to how to do this.
Is is feasable, possible? Can anyone help, please?

Can TS2004 save the route/sessions as a .cdp? If so, then you should be able to import into TS2006 and beyond.
After all, there is lots of content on DLS that was built for TS2004, and most of it works fine even in TS2010.

Just select Import Content from your CMP file menu and go into C:\Program Files\Auran\TRS2004\World\Custom\Maps\My Route and select My Route and click OK. Remember to commit it in CMP.
