Hi

I have a licensed copy of both Trainz 2006 and 2012, but frankly prefer the 2006 edition as it has a lot more assets for GWR and other UK and European type railways.

My set of CDROM's for 2006 all work except Disk 4, which has an unreadable sector on it, so I am desperate to borrow or obtain a copy of just that one CD.

Can anyone out there in Trainz land help me out ?

Cheers
Ian

Or Antarctica ... We'll all meet up at the McMurdo Base - McDonalds ... and have Cawfee !

I thought Antarctica would be a really cool place to live ... little did I know:

Lemon Pledge buffed into the disc, using a Disc Washer, or a soft terry towel, may get the scratches out, followed up by warm soapy water, and a dry terry towel, (Terry's gonna be really psssed, when she finds owt' I used her towel to clean my DVD/CD's).

Perhaps if you register your copy of 2006 with Planet Auran (link at top of page, same process as you did with TS12), you MIGHT get a serious reply, otherwise, I'd guess you're SOL.

You appear to have a legal registered copy of TS12, why would you want to go back to using a crap version
like 2006, when for a 'fiver' you can buy an un registered copy of 2010 ?

As old as your computer may be, if it runs 2006, it will run 2010 & it's heaps better, with dls access with
no requirement to buy a fct

Clearly. Because disk 4 of TRS2006 will allow him to do so many illegal things. Sheesh...

I said nothing about "legality", but referenced asking for something we have no evidence to believe he even owns.

You seem to just like to start arguements. (newest member of my ignore list).

And again. He can't do much with disc 4 of TRS2006...

I do believe all I did was point out the stupidity in how pedantic you were acting. Oh well, he can't get this message. The fact I'm on his ignore list really truly breaks my heart

Really? Do posts have to turn into disses always?

What if you are on the receiving end? How would you like it?

Cheers

If he had the serial number registered then maybe he could just download TS2006. It is the simplest thing.

I agree with some of the previous posters: Check a bargain bin and buy it for a few $ or invest a few coins more and get the latest or 2nd latest version.

I have TS2006 registered and would not know how. If this is possible, I like to learn how. I ended up investing a few coins more and got the latest version.

As no digital download exists for unsupported TRS2006, a digital download is impossible ... when I handle my discs and all CD/DVD's I touch them with clean hands, like with photographic cotton gloves, and place discs in the jewel case, like discs are the royal crown gems ...

If I scratch a disc, I smash my hand, with a ball peen hammer ... so far I have never scratched a disc, as I treat them like gold.

I used to work in Ft Knox, where I polished the gold ... I kept my gold bar polishing rag hanging out of my back pocket when I left security the gate every day, for 35 years ... never once did the MP's ever take my rag ... when I got home each day, I shook out my rag into a big empty washa' machine box ... I saved up enough gold dust, that it is 3" deep !

Whoo Hooo ... I'm Rich !
