Cabview lighting

What? Speak up, don't mumble!

I'm a couple thousand miles north of you in central Wisconsin, so no, I can't actually HEAR you. :hehe: However, what I got is the dash 9 cab with everything except the reverser and possibly the horn and bell working, if you got the whole smash working upload it to www.humyo.com and post a link. Unless you want to light it up yourself, I don't mind competition! :cool:

I Can't light it up and yes,I have everything working.
Replace dash944_main With what you want to see out the windows

Also dash944_main=dash944ac_main. They Map the same just Rename dash944ac_main to dash944_main for it to work if you are using dash944ac_main as you texture.

Oh man, I hope I haven't bogged down your brain too much.

Hee-hee, you got the tech savvy to fix the little beastie i bet you could do lighting effects if you tried. :cool: Anyway, here's the current state;

Download that, see what you think.

Curious things here - I tried opening that in TS2010 content manager to convert it to build 2.9, remembered (THIS time!) to turn on the auto create for everything except shadows (which begs the question, if the latest version requires Auto Create 1 for everything wuffo there's no automatic batch feature for that?) but whatever I do to the reverser lever it don't animate like the other three levers do. So I reinstalled and edited in explorer instead, left it at build 1.3 for now.

Horn button also don't work, altho it mentions a pullrope rather than a button, possibly that's the problem. No bell either, maybe that's in the AC4400 model itself rather than the cab.

Oopz!

Forgot this is the screenshot forum, gotta post a screenshot along with the jibberjabber so I'll be in compliance. ;)

I'm running in cab mode, in TS2010. Press the B or the horn toggle on the Raildriver console and the horn does blow, but the button don't move and I can't blow the horn by clicking the button with the mouse. Maybe it's different with other versions, I don't know since I only have TS2010 installed at the moment. No bell either, altho that's probably missing from the AC4400 I'm using, forgot where I got that one from.

the horn it uses never had a bell.
Also, I can move the horn button with my mouse and I am using 2010 too.

Jim, your Have to click and Drag it down. This is not MSTS.

Egad, Sherlock!

Mystery solved, I'm so used to buttons levers and switches on the Raildriver console I never tried pushing an in-cab button on Trainz before. Thanks! :hehe:

Nothing new there, my youngest son is a 20 year old high functioning autistic, over the years as we both grew older he got smarter and I got dumber. :hehe:
