Cab view and outside view.

Hello everyone.

I found this video clip on you tube today, which has an outside view and an inside view of the train at the same time.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dkrFcrpgACo

Is this something that is part of TS 2010 or has the person filmed the outside and inside views separately?

If it’s a part of TS 2010, does anyone know how to get it working?

Thanks for any help.

Put this in your trainz options folder.
Having looked at the video it's where the person has placed the cameras when making the route, he's using tracking mode, third button right top when in driver.

Hi Fran, thanks for replying.

Can you please help me with freeincam set up?

Do I need to download it and how do I find the Trainz options?

Thanks.

Find where you have the 2010 folder, open that, you will see trainzoptions. Open that and add the line as it is in the other post.

I think that video has the cabview inserted post production. I know of no way of getting such a double view in Trainz, but would love to be proved wrong.

Hmm, without a shadow of a doubt this cab view inset is added in a video editing program.

The only simulator I know of that can do this in-game is MS Flightsimulator.

Because with <-freeintcam> you can move the camera in a more civilized view form. You can "go outside" and if you want, look back at the cab! The form of movement that comes with the game is ackward. I change it automatically as soon as I load-install the game. Try it, you'll like it.

l the cab view seems the same to me no matter which loco I use.

Anyway, thanks to everyone for your help.
