I was just wondering why this engine only has 4 notches in cab mode? It can make it difficult to drive, especially when switching. I have tried to change out the engine file but when I do the engine will not move at all, unless in DCC mode.

I think it's supposed to make the engine more unique and add interest to it.

Designed with a 4 notch throttle, as meow said, just to make it a little more interesting to run with.

Is there a way i can change it to 8? I know jr doesnt support changes to content just thought id ask.

You would have to change the throttle_notch line in the engine spec from 4 to 8

that still wouldnt work as there are no power curve containers after notch 4. it would probably be best to just switch the engine spec with something else.

If you were running T:ANE you could swap out the engine spec on the fly to whatever one you want by going to the properties on the locomotive -- click on the ? in Surveyor/Session editor.
