As rjhowie2 says above, BVE is a completely different Train Sim to Trainz and you can't install any BVE files into Trainz's.
If you are after 3rd party Trainz's content that isn't on the DLS, then look for .cdp files or Kuid's. (There are a lot of 3rd party sites that have Trainz's content). Both file formats can be imported into Trainz's.
On some 3rd party sites, these files have been compressed with either winzip or winrar. You will need to un-compress them before you can import them into Trainz's. Hope this helps.

Well there is an engine sound based on BVE on the DLS

If not this, then you are probably going to get a better answer on BVE oriented forums. No idea where they are but I'm sure a Google search will find some. Good luck. :wave:

There's a BVE section at train-sim.com. If I remember right a sticky at the top has a pretty detailed thread for installing it.
