Burlington Northern Shots

That's pretty cool Montanawestren. You should fire up your thread about the Stampede Pass. The pics were looking great!

A BN SD60M coal train is coming off the Antelope Mine spur to head south towards Bill Wyoming where it will park its train to wait for a crew to take it to its destination.....The coal fields in the back right is Jacobs Ranch and the coal field on the back left is Black Thunder

I don't intend this to be criticising, but is that even a BN loco, I mean this thread IS all about those locos.

The CB&Q is a precursor to the BN and I personally think that other then BN shots, the railroads that formed it can be included as well. (NP, GN, SP&S, CB&Q, and later SLSF and C&S)

@hert :p back at you...

So I missed one! :D

I'd be posting my own shots here too, if I had a computer with Trainz on it. I promise I'll edit and put pictures here when I get back up and running. :)

A few months after the 1970 merger, an ex-Great Northern freight out of Great Falls, MT waits on the

Moss-Main siding while the ex-Northern Pacific Train #604, aka the Fruit Train, clears the east end of

Laurel Yard. The ex-CB&Q Train #79 from the Nebraska Division pulls into the yard as a soon to be

discarded NP RS11 switch engine pulls back a string of cars.
