Built-in N&W Y6B and tender update botched

G'day, I noticed the built-in N&W Y6B and tender had an update so I downloaded them the loco, tender and all of the associated trucks. Guess what, the loco and tender references different kuid numbers for the trucks to the ones replacing the originals? I just hope more care is taken with the service pack/hotfix for TS12 and the development of T2. For me it is an easy fix, just change the kuid numbers but for anyone using multiplayer it would be a real pain in the tender.

It is possible that there are new versions of the trucks that have not yet made it through the upload process. Perhaps there were errors in them! lol

However, you would think that N3V would make sure their own updates appear without missing dependencies.

These ones:
N&W Y6B,<kuid2:523:1972911:1>
N&W Y6B Tender,<kuid2:523:1972919:1>
N&W Y6B Tender,<kuid:523:1972919>
N&W Y6B,<kuid:523:1972911>

G'day, new versions of the trucks were there as well but not the same kuid numbers as the loco and tender are asking for!!

Good Evening all
I will speak to our team regarding these tomorrow for them to look into. Thank you for reporting it to us :)

Hello,
I have the same problem with N&W Y6B loco (<kuid2:523:1972911:1>) ...
Unknown Location: <kuid:523:19723190>
Unknown Location: <kuid:523:19723191>
Unknown Location: <kuid:523:19723192>
Unknown Location: <kuid:523:19723193>
:'(

Looks like this locomotive, N&W Y6B loco (<kuid2:523:1972911:1>), has been updated again to version 2 which probably gets round the problem of the missing dependencies. (As Barrie says above there are new trucks/bogies for this already on the DLS but they do not appear as dependencies for the locomotive.) However, the new version of the locomotive at the moment appears as an unknown asset.

A similar problem with the tender seems to have been sorted out with the truck appearing on the DLS.

I wouldn't worry about it too much. The N3V admins are aware of the issue and I'm sure a new loco version will be uploaded soon.

John
