Buckingham Branch RR

I uploaded this route on the 19th. It shows that it is still awaiting processing. Does this normally take awhile or am I missing a step that I am supposed to take?

Dash 9's on the BBRR

Come along as three "CincySouthernRwy" painted 44-9s move a consist of empty gondolas from the siding at the Bremo Power plant up the grade to Dillwyn. One Dash 9 from Susquehanna, 1907 from Virginian and 92 from Cartier. I wish he had some engines made for TS2009. These are TS2004. This video is in 2 parts. Best viewed in HD, full screen. Enjoy.

It used to be pretty quick. It seems that they are working slowly these days. Nothing I uploaded between September 7th and a few days ago has moved out of "Unprocessed" yet, but the Pittsburgh & Lake Erie U28B's I uploaded the other day made it within a day or so. Very odd.

Sweet!

Apparently the GP16's made it today. #3 has 6 downloads so far.

Oddly enough, the other stuff I uploaded and re-uploaded hasn't made it except for two items that were part of a pack of items. WTH is wrong with the DLS lately?

Now all we need is the route to run them on. It is still awaiting processing. I am downloading them as I type this..

Thank you very much CincySouthernRwy for these Buckingham Branch GP16s. I really like them. And thanks to all others who made all the items on this route. Maybe one of these days, I can make some of the items that I need for my routes.

It looks like Auran is never going to get around to processing the upload so if you want this route for TS2009, it can be found at

(this link removed as the route may contain some 3D meshes or textures created or distributed by Auran that have not been substantially modified.)

Just curious as to whetcher anyone has tryed this route. The link is in the post prior to this one. I am looking for some feedback. The Buckingham Branch locos can be found on the DLS made by CincySouthernRwy .

Well I give up. I have tried uploading the route about 3 or 4 times and this is all I can get.

"The addition of your content file Buckingham_Branch.cdp has failed due to the following reason:

- There is a problem with the unpacking of your content, please try repacking and uploading."

I have no idea what the problem is and the help desk will not help. I have been trying since the 19th of Sept. If Auran thinks I am going to buy anymore of their unsupported products, they are sadly mistaken and I am seriously debating whetcher to continue making the Lindsay to Shores route. What is the use? I can not share it. It would be for my use alone.

Sorry but I am really ticked off right now. Screw Auran and the horse they rode in on........

What the heck is a content dispatcher? I sure haven't seen it. I right click on the file in CM2 and select "save to CDP". I can only assume that is what they mean by compiled with Content Dispatcher. Is that also what they mean by Packing or repacking? Where in the heck can I find something that tells me what packing or repacking means. The "Helpdesk" is a joke. All Auran know how to do is push (for sale) their unsupport carp. Once you buy it, you are on your own. Looks like I need to go to Ripoffreport.com and do a little reporting.

Perhaps this might help to the extent that it is a know problem that is being worked on.

1 unprocessed asset

Unsupported carp eh. Great looking route by the way.

Are you sure it is being worked on? Personally I think they are too busy marketing their new 3 pack and TS2010 to be concerned with a little problem experienced by us prior customers.

"Carp": Everyone knows what I mean. I need to keep it halfway clean anyhow.

I just went and reread the agreement that I have to click on before uploading content. According to what I read, I can not upload a route unless I make or sustanctially modify everything in it. Now I can not make or modify the blank boards (which are surely Auran content) which is the start of any route. Are they trying to tell me that every route that someone uploads has no 3D mesh or textures created by Auran. How am I supposed to know what meshes and/or textures are created by Auran? I can only assume that everything that came in the CM2 that was on the original CD which I purchased from Auran is their content. If I purchased the content in the software which was produced to build routes, then I can not use that content to build new routes. I must make my own (3D meshes and textures). Sounds just a little strange to me. I am beginning to wonder if I should even be posting screenshots taken on routes which may contain their 3D meshes or textures.

does not infringe any copyright, patent, trademark or other intellectual property rights of any person; does not contain any 3D meshes or textures created or distributed by Auran that have not been substantially modified;

Relax Skid, you are misunderstanding that clause.

You are only uploading the route, which is entirely your work. You are not uploading anything of Auran's, the dependencies already exist.

What you can't do is upload an asset created by Auran without substantially modifying it. Your route is not created by Auran, so no problemo my friend, upload asap...

Andy :)

FYI: In case anyone is interested, (which I doubt) I have submitted this route to TPR and they tell me that it has been accepted.

Be advised, I made this route in 2009. I do not have any other version of trainz so I could not test it in any of them and as of now, if anyone has tried it in another version, they have not let me know what happened.

The only assets I can think of which may not be on the DLS is the MP-track wood and MP-track rusty.
