British Narrow Gauge Locos/Stock

Learning... slowly!
Hi guys,

Sorry, I'm back again.

Does anyone know of any free UK Narrow Gauge stock or locos that I can download that will work with TrainzMac/2010? The Talyllyn railway's website has some lovely versions of their locos but they only work on 2006, which I'm not able to use currently.

I found a Fowler shunter and a 0-4-0 WT on The download station, but I've nothing else to run with them, and I think one of them's the 24" and one's 36" so I can't even run them together.

Industrial or passenger, either is fine.

Thanks in advance,

Alex

Mine should work all 2ft, Ffestiniog's Mountaineer and Lyd a collection of WHR Carriages and Rolling stock, some EX WD Alcos, the L&B Manning Wardles and some freelance ones loosly based on a Hunslet all on the DLS.
Skipper1945 has a model of Lyn the L&B Baldwin. Mine are only DCC at the moment by the way am working on getting them working in cab mode as well.
The DHR locos and rolling stock are also now on the DLS.
The Ffestiniog stuff from Trainzone, I am in the process of updating for kevmt who created them which will eventually add a whole lot more you should be able to use.
ING4Trainz has a lot of Narrowgauge items as well mostly Irish but quite a lot of 2ft items as well
if you search the DLS for 600mm or 60cm or 2ft, 2foot 24NG. NG24 that should bring up a few others as well which may or may not work without fixing most of the rolling stock should work, it's mainly locos that need updating.

Malc, I searched your username in the online DLS and could only find some ballast/dirt things- do you have a website where I can download stuff?

I was brought up in Leeds so Hunslet & Manning Wardle others built in the city are of particular interest, plus any of the welsh stuff, though I'm not a fan of the garratts- I prefer engines that look fairly normal! :)

No website I'm afraid, not sure why you are not finding them on the DLS as they are all there and have been downloaded many times. The ground textures were uploaded after everything else, if you were on windows I'd say your content manager is out of sync and you need to do a Database repair.

Tried the Black pages or the new badly kept secret white pages http://dls.trainzportal.com/index.php ? All my stuff is prefixed CL by the way, user ID 425700.

I wasn't over fond of the Garratts on the WHR however they have grown on me over time, The 1 in 40's with 12 loaded coaches need a fair bit of grunt.

I've now tried both black & white, white brought up just ten results- 9 textures and a bogie! Ah well, I appreciate your help and suggestions anyway, so thank you. Sometimes computers do weird stuff. I've managed to download a few Ffestiniog bits and pieces from the trainzone.co.nz website so that's partially satisfied my craving.

Are there any British narrow gauge routes available? I have had a quick look on the DLS but couldn't seem to find any. I was going to just run the trains on Northbay County as there's some nice scenery, but that one uses the wider narrow gauge track :(

Again, thanks to all for your help so far, tis very kind of you.

Using your cm do a search for author=clam1952, assuming the mac one is similar you should get 111 assets.

Give us a hour and I'll stick them on Mediafire, I'll pm you the link.

Edit:
PM sent - you actually get a a couple of my updated ones that can be driven in cab mode which I haven't updated on the DLS yet plus added a list of what 2ft I know is definitely on the DLS.
