brand new game is empty?

hello trainz users.

I'm incredibly new to this game. I bought it yesterday (ts12) and installed it. everything was great and i did the first tutorial.

today i logged in and on the main menu screen it was just blank with the white arrows on each side. no tutorial, no routes, no past sessions, no look at my assets just a blank green window.

Also in the menu on the top left the options menu is also empty.

I've got a ticket in with auran/n3v but i'm really hoping one of you has come across this before and might have some magic solution!

Things i've tried:
Fresh install
Fresh install after deleting the n3v folder AND erasing all trainz/auran/n3v references in my registry.
installing dx9c (which i saw recomended somewhere else on the forum)

every time the game will work for the first login but after patching the screen just goes blank.

Obviously with how long it takes to install/update assets/patch/update assets again and then download more updated content

i'm not really excited about the prospect of re-installing every day....

Sounds like a corrupt asset to me. Try doing an Extended Database Repair in Content Manager.

this games a little more complex then a typical computer game so i appreciate the help getting started.
