I have a problem with the Strathclyde/SPT BR Class 318 EMU rolling stock repeatedly causing a hardware access violation when I place them on the track in surveyor. Sometimes it will crash immediately, other times I can add several units but eventually the game will crash every time I try to use them - usually when I start to move around the baseboard.
I have tried testing on a new baseboard with nothing but a length of track on it but still this problem persists.
At first it seemed to be just attempting to place more than one of the power cars (with the pantograph) that caused the problem but it seems as if all the 318 cars are problematic.
I can find no obvious reason for this but was wondering if anyone had experienced similar problems with these in TRS 2004.

This problem persists regardless of whether I run in DirectX or OpenGL
