Dirty Deeds
Howdy Everyone and Happy New Year,
I am trying to find track diagrams for the state of Washington in the US,Specifically BNSF Track diagrams,I cant find anything here in the search feature and goggle only brings up BNSF website,I have tried goggle earth but there are no names of sidings or towns along the rail line unless someone has uploaded a photo or interesting piece of info on that particular town,Any one know of a website or even a book i can purchase from sum where about track diagrams.
Thanks for any help in advance.
Cheers Mick.

Hi Mick,

Go to my ultra new site (put on-line today actually) and click on Track Plans. I don't think I have any for BNSF yet, but click on any Fallen Flags link and head for the Fallen Flags index page (link at bottom of each page.) Then go to BNSF under "B" and search through the hundreds of entries for that railroad. I'm sure you'll find something if you're just looking track maps as opposed to yards and sidings.

If you can't find a Fallen Flags link, look in the Contributors section on the right.

Make sure you do a search on my site also, but I think BNSF was a bit light on. I spend hours each day searching for stuff and I've only posted 10% of what I have so far. it would be wise to visit often!

Link is in my signature below.

Howdy Johnk,
Going to your site as we speak mate thanks for that,Just seen your thread about the train/truck crash not a great start to the new year is it.
Cheers Mick.

Howdy Again Johnk,
You have a winner there with your website mate, haven't found what I'm after yet but found a heap of other stuff I'll need shortly, are you going to start a forum there or is it more just a place people go for info. Thanks again for pointing me there its a site I'll be at often.
Cheers Mick.

Hi Mick,

Thanks for your positive comments. It's only been up a few hours, I've only told two people. but it's had 75 visitors already. As you can see, it's early days yet and I'm about to contact web site owners as soon as they all sober up.

I don't want to start a forum as such because I like to see everyone concentrated here at Trainz. I have a lovely little forum running on another site, so I might include it just so people can make requests or offer links. Also, if you have any luck, please let me know. There's a "contact us" link on the left.

I average about 10 new items aday - sometimes 20, but things will be quieter this week as I fine tune the site for Internet use. It's been running for a month on a personal server, but that's not the same. At present I plan to update every Sunday so there's no need to visit daily if you're just looking for new stuff.

Regards, John

Thank You

Howdy Backyard ,
Thanks for putting up the link,They still have sum bnsf stuff but not the area i was after but i only just had a quick look under bnsf,So are they actually called track charts not diagrams.
Cheers mick.

Other resources...

 Sure Mick, glad to help!

You also can check with train shows & or the sellers there...locomotive books, track charts(diagrams), maps etc can be found there.

Thanks

Thanks Again Backyard,
Just had a closer look at Tims site and they do have sum bnsf charts just not the ones i was after but he does have a note on his site saying he mite be able to get more if i email him with a heap more details so i will try that,I downloaded a couple of Fishlipsatwork's Dem's for Washington so would like to see how hard it is to get enough info on the area's so as i could make a reasonable attempt at a prototypical route,My hats off to those who stay dedicated from start to finish.
Cheers Mick.

Niagara Rail (nothing to do with BNSF) said he had also been asked to remove his Track Charts (diagrams, maps) by the cops of all people. Something to do with terrorism and all that waffle. All the charts I have is outdated stuff whick wouldn't even help the local fire brigade. I can help with Southern Cross Station Vic, past and present if that's any help.

Regards,

John

Howdy Johnk,
Thanks for the info mate ,Your site has given me sum more info on future projects so I'm happy enough with that and as for the bnsf track charts if i cant find what i need I'll just have to make the route to suite my imagination and that will have to do,Backyard gave me a really good US site for stuff i was after and whilst i haven't contacted them yet they have a heap of charts for different area's in the US so i mite change to one of them if info is easier to come by.
Thanks Again.
Cheers Mick.
