BNSF Seldom Branch

Montana, It does not matter weather you put a Saleen S7, Porsche, or Nisaan GTR next to the depot, it is awesome! Thanks a lot, and keep up the good work!

I am truly amazed on the work and progress on this layout! It is amazing what you can come up with Montanawetren. keep up the excellent work!

Very nice work montanawestern! Ive really been watching this thread, and have seen you progress. I really love the abondon tunnel. One thought though, you should put a old track bed after it. But other than that, nice job!!

Hi all,
Thanks everybody for your kind support.
@JackieG: Thanks and Ill look into that, by what I know the UP Tunnel #23 has no abandon ties but what the heck this layout is freelanced.
A rarity these days maned helper crews at summit as they prepare to pick up the o'l green giant (note the heavy, heavy train off in the distance):

Your welcome. BTW: how do you post screenshots, i know i've asked about a hundred people but i still can't figure it out.
I know i need to set an account on imageshack ( which I already have ) but when i press the print key i look in my documents and theres no folder. Oknotsen told me that i need to look in TRS12/Userdata/Screenshots but i have NO idea what the heck that is. Do you know? Please help!

hi am id be glad to help, I want to see that layout of yours. So first off I use fraps, the free one, its pretty care free. First set up a folder that you want your screenshots to be in, then go into fraps and set your folder up EX:

MTW, your route’s looking good. I think you’ve picked some good texture colors for that terrain. As far as your question about a lumber industry I’d go for it. I’d put in weathered wood structures around sidings or just here and there. There are some wooden freight depots at USLW that might fit in well with old NP and SP&S structures. You seem to know your SP&S, NP and BN railroad background.

Thank you SO much Montanawestren. You helped a lot. you'll be seeing some pics here eventually. Thanks!

That is amazing, I love how your mountains go diagonally up. I've tried doing that but I can't, oh well. Can't wait for this to come out on the download station. Also, what kind of grass texturing (paint) is that? And one more thing, how do you turn the water that kind of brown-ish color?

Thanks, firs I got the mountains to go up that way by using the 'UP' tool, the grasses are grass 04 and grazed grass, the rock texture is Rock44 and rock111 the cliffs are some kind of gestien (im not entirely shure how to spell that but I know its builtin). And the way I got the water to look like that was by using spline: River spline Muddy or something like that.
Hope that covers it all.
