I had to change the track

Hello and happy New year, I just want to let you know that I got a new laptop and I'm going to start over the Lines to Harbor Route for Trainz and I will be doing Google Sketchup and learning the basic steps and tutorials that will help me build my route and also I've decided I want to do locomotives like the Kinkisharyo P3010 LRV, and this is my 1st try on Google Sketchup an it's the start of the Kinkisharyo P3010 LRV and hope you like it. Also I want to learn how to import from Google Sketchup-Blender to trainz.

3DSMax costs several thousands dollars for a legitimate Copy, and seeing as you didn't mention paying that or yelling at a customer service rep at some point Im guessing you didn't pay that. That said, Blender is free to download and use, though not the easiest to learn, however it is the recommended to use 3D Creation program for Trainz atm. After that all I can do is echo the previous person's comment about Sketchup which is that its very poly heavy. To the point that anything more complicated then a Box is likely to drag on Framerates. I do have and use some sketchup models, but they're all buildings of not overly complicated designs......

Good Luck in your endeavors regardless,

3DSMax is free for students...

The education license doesn't appear to allow for the creation of assets for the DLS.
