Dermmy, what are your preferred trainzoptions?

'Zfar' is set by TrainzTuner and is fairly high for another project I am working on. When I was doing Clovis I tried to keep it about 3000 meters.

As you can see, I did a little shopping this weekend. Came home with some new locos from WOT. I can't think of a better way to show them off than on this route..

Clovis 3!

I said I wouldn't do it, but there ya go - wrong again! Work commenced on Clovis 3 yesterday. C3 (and C4) were successfully Hogged and C3 merged onto the Clovis 2 route. C3 will extend the route eastwards to beyond the Fort Sumner Bridge. Look for it in about a year. Maybe....

Clovis3_001.jpg

The result of the C2 - C3 merge - a vertical misalignment of about 5 meters and a horizontal mis-match of only 80 meters. Using HOG this is about as good as it gets. Both the alignment and the 'chasm' are easily fixed. Fortunately all the industries and road intersections stayed connected through the merge. Could be worse!

Andy :)

C3 already? Great persistence you have, but don't work yourself to death!

Great route you got going on there too.

Andy!

First Cane Creek, now C3?!

I can't wait!
Most guys have Sports Illustrated calenders in their garages...I have the Checkrail.com calender!:p

It'd be rather difficult for anyone to find anyone who thinks your Cane Creek route wasn't a masterpiece. But in the end, it is your decision. :)

Cheerio,
Nicholas.

Thanks Nicholas, but I chose where to set up the screenshots very carefully. Some of the texturing was definitely the best I have ever done and viewed in isolation I loved some of the effects. The 'big picture' though when viewed from the cab or tracking cameras was not so good...

Andy ;)

Well great news to hear about C3, but sad to hear about Cane Creek. But I'm glad you made a decision you feel is for the best.

:)
