Hi dermmy,

Very nice route you have made.

I hope you can help me with the last two assets that I need:

Unknown Location: <kuid:55290:10000> The 60ft boxcar I cannot find it on the RR forum anymore like you posted before.
Unknown Location: <kuid2:200202:54537:1> The Horn for the ES44

Thanks in advance!

The boxcar is available from the RRMods forum on this page. You need to be registered and logged in to get it - register here. (The checkrail.com sesion download page is now updated.)

The hornsound should be available from WCT on this page.

The ATSF was not afraid to put lots of power behind their trains, a classic Santa Fe PIG train rolls across New Mexico on its way to L.A while a manifest idles away in Belen...

... then works hard against a 0.75% grade from a standing start. In this shot it is just cresting the grade at 6,225 feet. From here it is four miles of steep downgrade single-track switchback to Vaughn, then just a few miles more to the Eastern Portals. The end is (almost) in sight.....

Yes...kind of makes one wish that he too could duplicate a prototypical route, with great realistic textures, and capture the real feel of the prototype RR. I have been experimenting with dozens of types of tracks, that are also low poly, and high detailed. Aside from the "MP Wood" track (that is detailed I must say), I think the route is totally fantastic, and can't wait for it's release !

I have spent literally days experimenting with different tracks trying to find a concrete-sleepered grey ballast track that works as well as good ol MP-Wood. I can't find one I like. The MP concrete track strobes 'orribly on my system and nothing else I try really does it for me. I must get hold of Bill's new track from USLW and give that a go. But if I can find something that I like and which is as functionally top-notch as MP then there will be different track on C2...

Hi Andy,

Have you ever try these tracks from USLW?

They are high detailed. Perfect for any route.
