What do bluestar couplers look like. 2009 says obsolete so I,ve taken them out and can,t see any difference with wagons that are supposed to have them. I,m not a trains buff so I wouldn,t have aclue. Please enlighten me.

Hi Baz,

Yes I saw 2009 says they are obsolete but I left them in, it only shows a warning and the wagons work with or without them.

Cheers,

On UK stock they can be chains, 3 link couplers etc that link up when next ot a bluestar enabled wagon, loco, or carriage. They have been replaced by the ACS system but since they use a script to work it is not easy to switch them.

Thanks John. I haven,t been doing any trainz building because I had over 2500 warnings on CMP2. I guess this is one of the major drawbacks for 2009 but I still wouldn,t swap it for 06 or 04. Just like pain I guess.

For the moment run in compatibility mode. Longer term run pev's tools, he mentioned a new version coming that would auto fix a number of common errors.

I,m using all of PEVs tools and they are great. Looking forward to his new one I have got the list down to 900, lots of learning there.
