Blowing Horn Makes Bell Ring

Hi - I have a problem with the Nathan K3LAR2 that comes on the BNSF Dash9. When I blow the horn it makes the bell ring - anyone know why? It's really annoying.

Really! I didn't know that. Thanks to JR for this little bit of prototypical accuracy that I for one, appreciate now that I know it is correct.

Sorry to bump this, but how do I make the bell ring upon blowing the horn? Is it in the config? Also, if possible, can I get a list of the numbers for the ditchlight tag and what each number makes the ditchlight do?

The bell coming on with the horn is all tied into the cab the locomotive is using. it is not part of the config but is a part of the cab interior.

The ditchlight settings are:

1 = on and blink with horn
2 = constant on no blink
3 = off and blink with bell
4 = off - toggle on with bell
5 = on and blink (bell or ditchlight key)

How would you find the location to put the tags in?

I just found out (tested) that most Amtrak locos have flashing ditchlights activated by the semicolin key ( ; )

You can test it on any locomotive by pressing that key.
