I'm currently using 2.49b of Blender. The XML importer was created by Auran against TS2009 I understand but I create for TRS2004 as well as TS2009 with it.

Have fun.

Hi John,

There has been no mention of which Python script is used here or in the postings else where on this forum.
Perhaps you could enlighten me as to what is actually required.
What programs should I be combining to be able to get content into Trainz 2006 or any other Trainz version?

Do I combine for example;

1) Blender 2.45 with Python 2.5 + Trainz 0.69 Exporter
2) Blender 2.48 with Python 2.5 + Trainz 0.69 Exporter
3) Blender 2.49 with Python 2.6 + Trainz 0.69 Exporter

I would be grateful if you would clarify this for me.

Regards
Mike

Quote "The script was developed for Blender 2.45, but any later version should work also." I'm using 2.49b 32 bit, there maybe an issue with 64 bit and 2.49b.

Python 2.5 or 2.6, from memory it should work in both as 2.6 can be considered 2.5 with a few extras.

One day the exporter will get put to version 1.0 basically when some has time to go through it and do the proper documentation.

Translation what we have works fairly well. There have been some suggestions for improvement but the code was written on paternity leave which has come to an end.

Hope that helps.
