Black screen & message...

Hi,

When I launch surveyor to work on the route I`m building I get a black screen with a message (Spanish I think).

Is this telling me that I have used content that might not work with TRS2006 ??

If you are using Trains2006, On the start menu click "Options" Go to advnced options Tab,Tick box "Suppress Asset Warning in Trainz.

i know exactly what you`re talking about, had it appear many times and gone to babelfish to translate it. All it says and means is that you have assets in your route that have errors in them. All you have to do is either delete the assets or fix them. To find what assets have errors in your route go into content manager, find your route, right click and view dependencies.

Thought it was strange as the only objects I had fitted were
Norfolk track
Buffers

You will also get that message if you change the display resolution. I bought a new computer with a wide screen monitor which stretchs things a bit so I thought I try a larger resolution (1600 X 1200. Got the same screen message you got. After the panic died I changed the resolution back to what it originally was (1200 X 768) and all was well (darned near gave me a heart attack, lol).
