Bit of a problem here...

I just read on that thread, did you remove the pendotrailerpant script from cars 3 and 7? That's what I was having the problem with but here's what I did to fix it:

Open every carriage for edit, all 9 of them, then commited them.
Then, I got an error for each of them. I didn't check the remaining carriages however for 3 and 7 it was to do with pendotrailerpant.gs not being present. I checked this, and it was accurate, the .gs file wasn't there.
I then reverted back to original and then opened them for edit and checked the file again and there was the .gs file!
I then re-commited them again and now they run fine :)

In the end, I didn't need to remove the script from cars 3 and 7 as a change was made (as referred in the thread). In your case though it looks like the scripts went missing.

This could have been to do with all the hell the game has been through in the last few days with the driver issues. I haven't tried any of my other stock, I've only tried the 142, 150/2 and the 390 and they now all pretty much work (minus the 150/2's side corona problems) but I'll look into that :)

Thanks again for all your help Shane! I really appreciate it :)

That may be a Superscript issue (that's a script that was created by andi06, and can be found within some assets, as well as being a dependency).

Jack,

If you using the versions of all the coaches marked "updated" in the username, there should not be any script problems.

I am running them with no script errors in TS12 and previous Trainz versions. The only time I remember having to change anything in the script was before Nexusjd brought out the updated ones. I think it is a wild goose chase to suspect anything Andi06's scripts.

In that case, unless my CM has thrown a wobbler, I definitely have the most recent version of the 150/2 and as you can see on the screenshot, doors open-no light, doors closed-light which is the wrong way around. I'm not saying it is the way Andi06 has written the script because it was working properly the other day. It is only after I tried to update my drivers which failed spectacularly that I had this whole issue today with the Pendolino carriages and the 150/2 side corona. I checked, too, it's not even confined to the ATW version. The First Great Western plain blue version also did the same. Therefore, I'm thinking it was something in the driver update which may have had an effect on the script. I'm not questioning Andi06's scripting, I would never question anyone on their creations, merely suggesting that I'd try to get in contact with him to see how the script should look :)

It may be to do with the corona itself. Something may have made it do the opposite of what it should. Considering the driver update caused the pendotrailerpant.gs file to go missing, God knows what else could have happened and I won't find out anything else until I open more content as time goes on.

Now, I am off to Hereford for a lovely anniversary weekend with my better half so have a wonderful weekend all, and thank you again for all the help and support you guys have given me :)

Best regards, Jack

Jack,

I am becoming more convinced that you have a problem at a track joint. Sometimes the joint looks OK in Surveyor but is not fully connected and need to be remade.

Why dont you try running the Pendolino and other consists on a different map? This would narrow down whether the problem is with the particular piece of track or point to the consist (less likely if they were working before). I assume you have allocated a consist driver in the session? Try running the consist using the driver HUD, this will often show a bad track joint.

I don't see how a video driver update could screw up the trainz scripts.

Hi Dan, it could be the track. I've never used this type of track before as I used to use the SAM track, but it started eating the performance so I changed and used the types used on Midshire. Do you know how I can get the HUD up?
