Bit of a problem here...

Okay guys, so I recently tried updating my drivers and Trainz was having none of it, so I've reverted back. I thought everything would have been okay, however when I try the 390, this happens:

It's clearly something to do with the pantograph, but does anyone know how I can fix it?

Edit: I've noticed it does the same thing on any train with a pantograph, however clicking More on the error list says it's something to do with a permit to be on the track, or something...

If you click the 'More' button on the error screen it will show the part of the script with which there is a problem.

Also make sure that the track is properly connected at both ends of the station and for at least 2 joints beyond in both directions. Did the consist drive to the position on your screenshot or did you place it there in Surveyor?

There does seem to be a problem with the pantographs because you should not see two of them raised and with a permanently lit spark.

Hi Dan, I took a screenshot of the More button and it shows this:

There are three spline points at this end of the baseboard beyond the train and two at the other end. I placed the consist there myself to see how long an 11 car Pendolino measured against your 250m platforms (it's a tad too short so I had to add a 50m extension).

I'll have a look at the pantographs in the CM and see if anything immediately pops up :)

Jack

Edit: Forgot the screenshot :hehe:

Edit again!: Seems on closer inspection, the pantograph is actually down. There was nothing wrong with any of the dependencies for Car 3 or Car 7:

Okay it seems pretty much everything has gone ridiculous. Both the forward and rear marker lights of the 150/2 stay on constantly on both ends, the cab is a mess, the views are a mess, the doors don't open at the station in driver mode yet the side lights stay on constantly and the drive panel isn't there so it isn't even driveable. I'm thinking a fresh re-install?

Check that you are using the latest version of those assets. There was a problem with the original nexusdj pendolino that had that exact symptoms.

Hi Shane

I'm definitely using the latest version of them. It seems there is a problem with a few of the scripts. I just deleted and redownloaded the ATW 150/2 and it's working again, minus the stations. They're not triggering the doors. As for the errors it's throwing up too, I think it is probably a scripting error. I've no idea how to fix these :(

Jack

It will probably still load as normal, but the script-related issues should disappear. Failing that, re-downloading the affected content should help.

Shane

The 150 is working again, however the station still isn't opening the doors of the 150. I wonder if redownloading the station will kick the script back into gear again? Worth a try :)

Jack

Well, redownloading the station re-enabled it:

Now just to work out why the corona is doing the opposite of what it should be doing, and why the TakePermitOnTrack error only affects the 390 (and why its pantograph is continuously sparking)

Jack

The TakePermitonTrack issue is probably due to a known issue re class Locomotive/class Vehicle. Have a look for a thread regarding the pendolino and TS2009 SP4, created by myself.

Shane

No need, Shane, I've fixed it :)

Edit: Just seen your previous post, thank you very much for finding it for me! I'll save it in my favourites bar for if I need it again :)
