Bird's Port

"Got a little bit of downloads there?"

Agree.

I was going to download the route because it looked very attractive, but after seeing the list I've had second thoughts - that's an incredible list for just a single board! Does it really need, for example, eleven different variants of derelict barrels?

And with all that crammed into such a small space I don't think I'd see even single digit frame rates on my aging PC.

What a stunning piece of work, Amen?!

Evan you truly have a real gift for route creation, I'm very impressed with the overgrowth in the trees, you did an exceptional job with that.
I also love the scene with the track running between the fences and the truss bridge, excellent detail, really gives me the feeling of a New England port town, I think you really have captured that very well.
However on the downside I recommend getting rid of the modern cars, etc.
The buildings and surroundings give off a very late 40's early 50's feeling and the graffiti covered boxcars didn't fit, perhaps some Maine Central, NYC, PRR, Hew Haven, Boston & Maine, etc. would do better.

Once again though, I'm amazed with your work.
True talent.

Thank you for your kind words, and I know what you mean by the box cars & modern cars.

It was hard for me, and always is, to really zone in on a specific time. Say the 1950's. I wasn't born in the 1950's so its really hard to tell what fits where. I use those box cars because of their quality, i prefer not to use box cars from TRS04 due to the lack of quality. All of my routes I build I make sure that I use the best, least faulty parts to make it work like a clock. So it puts me into a big dilemma when I try to zone in on a specific time.

Uhg I knew I didn't do it right. Unfortunately, I had to reformat my pc and wasn't able to back up any content from Trainz, so the route was lost. FML.

"It has been uploaded to the DLS ... "

Even if it's lost on your PC you should contact Auran. It's highly likely your cdp file is still within their system.

Hopefully they do have it....I dont know when they upload their stuff...Maybe it will be on there.... :Y:

Well as unfortunate as it is, I'm only bound to come back and make bigger and better routes. As soon as I can figure out how to prevent my CM2 from locking up my pc, I'll start up on another route again. Or if I purchase TS10.. Still debating on that one.

Thank you all for the great feedback, certainly re-establishes my confidence.
