Best is difficult if not impossible to answer but the route Devonshire County by colhad was the first I ever downloaded and still stays with me (although now updated with some of the later goodies) and is used fairly frequently to this day

Blimey klambert, that's a good question.....There's so many different choices.
Of all the UK routes, I think Angela's WCL 1 ( London Paddington to Reading ) is probably my favourite as I used to work at Paddington, about 22 years ago, and it brings back fond personal memories of the area, and it was such a great line to travel on and she's done a fabulous job of recreating it.
Locomotive wise, all the major classes of BR Blue diesels are superb.
However, being a complete Trainz nut, I like many of the routes from around the world and their locomotives to match....

If ya don't mind my saying, on the American side route wise, I think the top award has to go to Gfisher, for The Loops. Superb route that I run ever day (When my computer doesn't crash
) Again updated a few things myself but none the less it is still the top route.
Locomotive wise is tough, with so many people creating locomotives of great quality. I think that I would have to say the top locomotive goes to ethier, Phil_C at World of Trainz or Justin (NS-37) Both are top notch creators and I have a plethera of there items.
