BASEBOARD HELP

hi does anyone know how you can make the baseboard bigger on trainz railroad simulator 2004 when you create new in surveyor mode?

Open the Topology Tab. Hit the advanced button on the bottom left hand corner of the tab. Find the button to add the baseboard and hit anywhere outside the baseboard into space and the new one will appear. :wave:

i remember when...

i first started making layouts...

i didn't know how to make more baseboards so i took the
entire "Glasgow To Falkirk" route and deleted everything on it

it took me about 2 weeks :'(

Adam has described the correct method for adding more baseboards. However, if you're asking how to change the size of a baseboard, I'm afraid you can't do that in any version of Trainz to date.

cool i got it now so i ma now making a massive yard but when you place more things on auch as scenery locos etc the game runs really slow and keeps caching which is annoying the only way to at least have it run normally is to have to scenery and just a ferw locos on is this because my pc needs more ram?

what is your PC specifications?

i like 2GB or extra RAM, a good CPU and good VGA
