Let's see 'em!:D

Well today was not a good day to RR fan as it was storming out pretty good....We had to go up town to do a lil shopping so on the way up we took a lil spin past the yard and when we got there we seen todays coal train waiting for a crew...Yeah theres the sign again...ugh

WOW...NOW THAT WAS TO CLOSE FOR COMFORT!!!!! After this shot of lightning we said that was enough and went back in the car and shot some from there

We then shot 2 more from inside the car

We then thought this shot would be pretty cool to shoot from by the bridge

Just a reminder, there don't have to be trains in the shots...there can and there can be not...your choice. ;)

To make up for what we lost yesterday, we went to Marias Pass again to watch some shunting operations. We caught a CP Rail MP15AC switcher shunting some gondolas...

Luckily, the driver was friendly and allowed us to be on yard property. We took a shot from the other side.

Ran forward a bit to take a shot of the MP15 approaching...it came too close for comfort!
Screen_437.jpg

We then went back into town to see what was going on...and got this shot...
Screen_438.jpg

We then went to Cut Bank station to see the switcher unexpectedly set out on journey...perhaps back to Canada?

The switcher likely made it safely back to Canada...however we made it safely back home...and had to repair our damaged cameras. :o

The Ghostlight

They say, that every rainy night, the "Ghostlight" runs across the City & Country USA route. Plunging into fog, shreaking like a lost soul!

I didn't beleive this story so I decided to go out one rainy night...and the story was true.

If you can see a small light in the shots, it's the ghostlight. I would have gotten more of these shots, but it was too scary.

Transportfan;

if you have '06 they are included with Cut Bank station on the Marias Pass route. :)

If you have '06, give it a go, it's a good route to run trains like these on, and I am planning on purchasing the full version. ;)

Went up to Marias Pass this evening...and saw the same switcher I saw heading for Canada yesterday heading for Canada... What is all this?!

The switcher deadheading through Cut Bank...note the station light on the platform...:udrool:

...And I wonder if the switcher will be seen tomorrow on Marias Pass AGAIN.....! It is a most likely possibility...............
