Back in command

Hello everyone, I finally have a long weekend to play on my L&A route. I would like to rest out the Aberdeen Power kick back using the AI. The problem is I want the train to clear the switch then back in off the mainline. I tried drive to track mark but the train passes the switch so I'm guessing the AI is trying to find a way of heading face in instead of backing in?

Is there a back in command or what is the process of having a train back into a spur or siding?

Dave,

I think you need to reverse the direction of your train. The AI like to driver forward and this is why they can't back up into a siding. Look for a change direction command, I think it's called, to reverse the direction so your AI will drive "forward".
