autopatch failed

After a long time I fired up TRS2010 again and a pop-up screen warned me that there was a patch and would I like to install it?
So on my "yes" the download started and after maybe a half our it was in. But then I got the following warning:
Unpacking patch file...
Failed to extract the patch archive.
Patching aborted.
Tried it twice, same answer, any idea's anybody?

I am having the same problem. Have also tried the manual patch several times and I get the error message "init failed' Help!

goto the 10 fourm and you will find a step by step to patch,,, you have to do it manuenl

First you need the patch because the auto download failed
Check trainz Anocements it the forums
but this might be the right link

check you version number is correct and download the file
install it
Depending on content you have and CPU power it might take 1 to 6 hours to sort itself out

Also, remember to disable your antivirus software during patching - antivirus software is usually the main reason for patches either taking way longer than 2-3 hours, or failing to unpack the archive.
