auto update assets database 2010

:n: clicked on start to launch,auto update assets scanned then scanned for faulty assets..only randomly. it is wiped off my project i'm working on in surveyor mode few times but left some assets on it but most of it gone and i had to do it over again in some area..i don't think it is not appoppriate to install auto update. should be given a warning for them to decide to click on start for auto update scanner to remove faulty asset including project their working on in surveyor mode even after saved on harddrive. give me yours/theirs thoughts about this message...thanks..sk:'(

I have never had an "auto update" occur in 2010. I don't know what it is or what it does, but why you would be making a project with faulty content is beyond my imagination.

Did you shut down your system too quickly after closing Trainz?

You need to allow at least 3-5 minutes before shutting down.
