auto save

I was writing for help on the forum and I accidentally hit the red X. Auto save was in the lower right corner twice. Can I get it back? Thanks funnnyfarm

Hi,

Search in CM with the filter on "author = #-2" and you will find your auto save.

In other words: Yes, you can get it back.

I think you need to clarify things a bit here. There's two types of autosave - one when writing replies or creating new forum threads, and one in-game when working on a route in Surveyor. Which one is it?

Ah, sorry, I indeed did misread funnyfarms initial post. I thought he ment in Surveyor, not on the forum.

That's making more sense to me now. There's usually a small button at the bottom of a post if an autosaved post/reply was not actually submitted. Clicking this small button will make the autosaved text appear in the post/reply box.

You should have a little button at the bottom-left of the reply window relating to autosaved content. Be aware that this may not appear if you've logged out the forum though.
