WOW! That looks amazing hewi12, even I couldn't get my L's to look that good!! Might have to reinstall TANE!

Just another quick one from me, X41-X39 on the cementy...

Absolutely stunning hewi12!! I literally had to look twice, thought it was a real photo straight up.
How did you get it to look so real?

Like the PN liveried X Tom.

Cheers
David

Well to get TANE to look like that you gotta mod the shaders and tweak the post processing, I'm pretty sure TRam__ has a guide somewhere on the shaders.

Hewi if I was to repeat what I first said out loud on here I would be banned. Wow. I'm speechless (apart from the expletives)

tom loving that X mate. Got X41 in HO like that. How's the nose with the horn inside it looking? Lol

Hi Axe
Unfortunately, they aren't yet available for TANE. I'm actually planning to make some improvements for them for TANE, that will bring them in line with the other versions included in TANE. The main issue is time at the moment :)

And thanks for the complements guys, I am very glad to hear that they are being enjoyed :)

Zec

Cool. Thanks Zec.

regards

Can i ask what you mean by modding the shader's ?, I've heard of the post processing part but the modding the shader's isn't familiar. Nice work would love to see sum more.
Cheers Mick.

Hi David
Just a thought, but was the route transferred from a previous version? If so, you'll need to reset the environment settings for the route. This is done by opening the route into Survetor (using 'edit route'), and then click on the 'main menu' button on the top toolbar, then click on 'edit environment'. Now click on the 'reset colours' button above the clock.

You can then adjust the colours (and hence the brightness) using the tools provided. Each of the 'dots' around the clock represents a time point where you can change the environment colours. You can also add, move, or remove time points as required.

The sun colour box will change the directional light colour.
The ambient colour box will change the ambient colour.
The sky box has 3 'levels' that can be adjusted, so you can have a different colour at the horizon, half way up, and at the top.

Note, the colour also effects the brightness. So if you want darker light but at a similar colour, you can do so by reducing each of the colour wheels equally (or close enough to). It will take a bit of practice :)

Regards
Thanks Zec, tried those settings tonight. I reset the environment, wow it looks heaps better now.

Cheers

Hey all
A few more from a WIP route (RIP framerate)

Somewhere on the South Coast...

Looks fantastic Hewi!

Are you able to take a screenshot of some of Davido's (81?) or Vinnybarb's (CLP?) older locomotives with those shader settings? Unfortunately I don't have the time to screw with TANE settings at the moment, but am very curious to see how that content looks...

Awesome stuff guys!

KL81 and KL80 await a crew as they sit in the platform road at Lambley Rail with a container wagon transfer train.

Hello all.

Popping in while on the road. Great work everyone.

@Matruck.

I have the Cat already made but that is back in Brisbane on my laptop and i have no way of releasing it due to the build number at 2.9. I could help you out with the overhead problem.

Kind Regards.

M.G

Great shots everyone.
