Auran --- TC 3 --- Congratulations

Hi Everyone,

After a "Hicup" with the delivery of my copy of TC3. It finally arrived yesterday morning. (Thanks to Helpdesk:wave: )

Due to a very busy "Socialising" day yesterday, I was only able to load the game, patches and add-ons after 10 pm.

Well. Thanks to Auran I missed out on 4 Hours sleep last night!!!!! :hehe:

The game loaded perfectly, as did the patches and add on's. --- Quick and Easy.

What can one say.

The improvement in so many areas and the general feel of the game is terrific.

As for what comes with the game.... I had to go back to my Visa statement and make certain I had not paid more for the game.:hehe:

Guy's, I just wanted to say Congratulations and Thankyou.

I will be putting the game through its paces as soon as I have More serious time available. But from the very short 4 hrs last night and the Hour I have spent this morning, TC3 shows great credit on ALL (Capitals for emphasis) concerned with its release.

I will let you all know how I get on after I've given the game a more serious "thrashing".

Seem's I may have a lot of updating to do. .

Jet, Pacific7, Blackfour, Rob and ad602000, I don't think your older content is quite dead yet.

It sounds great mate. There is a problem at the moment, in that you will be frustrated by my slowness of action.

I'm afraid "Romance" is in the air, and that's taking my priority's ATM. That plus enjoying this retirement capper (I have been rarely home ) is taking up a considerable time.

I actually found them reasonably easy to get running (no idea about realistic, but running )...

Hi Zec,

I wouldn't mind giving an espec for Polly a try. I transfered over the BR Class 4 MT Tank engines last night. (another midnight session). And found a fair bit to do! A good deal of learning as well.

I'll work on the Class 4's over the next few days and then give you a yell.

I'm taking it slowly and easily, no pressure, for a while, as the enjoyment of Trainz was a little spoilt by all the work I did before.

Trainz is a fantastic game/hobby, and I realise I had forgotten just to sit back and enjoy it as well.

But that is changed now.

The Ladyfriend. Well that is all new and makes me feel like I used to when I was a young man. --- We both feel a lot younger again. We shall see how we go. One step at a time, and no pressure.

I feel young again.

BTW,

I took Paul's A3 for a spin last night Carlisle to Skipton. In Cab mode.

The operations of the steam engines is certainly very different. I couldn't stop her from "blowing off" all to frequently.

It was late at night so my concentration was not the best. :hehe: :hehe: :hehe: .

Are there fire dampeners included on this and the other engines?

Don't think the dampeners work

You'll find the opposite with my K class though. Very difficult to keep the boiler pressure up

Do you have a script file in the K already Zec?

If you don't, we could try Rob Pearsons Fireman script.

If you do, we may be able to add his script to yours and that may help a lot.

TC3 already has a built-in auto fireman. I've found him to be a little poor on the K class though. Always had the boiler overfilled with water, and the firebox overfilled with coal. Ran out of steam very quickly
