Auran.com Problem

Every time I attempt logging in auran.com my browser (FireFox) shuts down.

Suggestions?

I cannot even access my profile from this link above.

Only thing that I can think of is that you might be missing the Adobe Flashplayer plugin.

Does it also do that with IE?

Ive had a few reports of the site not working with firefox.

Though our website manager assures me it does.

Since I use IE, i never have any problems with any site.

I use Firefox 2.0.0.1 without any problems at all on auran.com. I seem to have fewer problems with other sites than I used to with IE.

again I use both FF and Flock (FF based) and have no problems. I would make sure you have the latest Adobe Flash....hrmm that sounds wierd, I wana say Macromedia....

Thanks guys,

I want to avoid any FF vs IE discussion (me smacks self), but did want confirmation that the site is definately working fine with FF.

Can anyone else not access the auran site with FF?

If so, what version of FF are you using?

Does anyone have a link for the Adobe Flashplayer plugin.

Try lowering your security level. The Auran site may have some adult words that will make it unaccessible. You should be able to set it to access that site as an exception.

"Adult words"? :confused:

I doubt that.

Btw, the site works fine with my 2.0.0.1 FF.
 
Got Trainz 2006 this weekend. Can't download anything from Download station using FTP or CMP, can't access the support forum using Firefox or IE. Can't access the website most of the time.
 
I use the latest version of Firefox and it runs the trainz forums and the main Auran site fine but the Trainz '06 website is painfully slow and sometimes wont finish loading at all.

So... what are you using now? or by "Support Forum" do you mean the other areas? if so you need to contact the helpdesk

Here's where I'm at.

1. I surrender. I have asked the helpdesk to figure this out.

2. I can access this site with FF.

3. I have shut down my Security Software and still can't get on using FF.

4. I used IE 7.0 and was able to access Planet Auran after struggling with Microsoft Certificates, whatever that might be.

Thanks for all the info and advice. I'll see what the helpdesk says.

Wrong thread for this query!

However, it's probably because your registration not yet active-they don't work all weekend at Auran.

Have you applied for a First Class Ticket (FCT) for downloading -this improves access to the server, otherwise you have to wait for space on the bandwith.

Microsoft certificates is only Bill Gates trying to rule the world so your copy of windows is over sensitive-just a warning on your own computer that the Auran software is not microsoft approved.
