Hi I have just downloaded some ATLS crossing parts but dont know how to use them.:( Could someone please explain how to get them working simply, Or links to websites. :) Thanks for any info!!

There are tutorials for these, can't remember where I got them from now but they do explain in full how to set them up. Somebody will come on and give the link I am sure. They (there are 2) came from the download site I think.
Remember to set the same ID numbers of each crossing to all the components but be sure that all xing sets have different ones because of the 'radio' link that controls them.
Be sure the crossings are not connected to the tracks in any way, just to the short sections of invisible track (invisitrack I think), otherwise stock will appear on them. However, I have found stock still does seem to find its way onto the short sections that link to the cones but they don't seem to interfere with other stock running. How the hell stock gets on them is a puzzle, I have checked that the cones are only attached to the crossing and not the main lines.
But before joining the invisible track put a short section of your actual track the other side so the xing lines don't become invisible. Once complete delete the short actual tracks. Connect the main lines together using the same invisible track and then lay the crossing over the top so it appears to be connected. This way trains do not operate the crossing in the normal way, they work the triggers on the tracks that then open the crossings. Triggers can be placed well away so the crossings operate well before your train arrives but be sure to give enough clearance on the 'Departing' trigger if using a long train.
I have run these on my newest route and they work very well once you get the hang of them so it's well worth persevering.
You can also attach them to bridges so trains can run at full (high) speed and the bridge/crossing will be down or open when the train arrives, something that doesn't always happen without the ATLS.
